RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Lloyd's Register North America, Inc. (2022 - present)

Process Safety Engineer

April 2022 - present

  • Design review and calculations for more than 100 pressure relief devices against API520/521standards for NFE FLNG project. Developed and optimized the pressure relieve valves calculation sheets, which accelerated the design review to meet client’s deadline.

  • PHA report, Flow Assurance study, Blowdown study and other technical documents assessment and design review.

Tengizchevroil, LLP (2011 - 2022)

Facilities Engineering Digital Champion

September 2021 - April 2022

  • Identified gaps in the department digital transformation projects, developed Facilities Engineering Digital Roadmap.

  • Led digitalization efforts of Facilities Engineering department, Product Owner of the FE Digital Projects (Digital Twin, Plant Technical Maximum).

  • Chevron Seeq advisor program participant.

  • Project support using Seeq data analytics; data cleaning, pre-processing, and modeling using Python.

Process Engineering Utilities and Export Team Supervisor

March - August 2020

  • Led a team of 8 direct reports (4 rotational positions) and provided operations support for nitrogen, water, air, power systems of two gas processing plants and crude and gas export.

  • Initiated sample reduction at the Utilities units, optimized lab analytical schedule to reduce/remove redundant sampling without negative impact and to improve monitoring. Total reduced samples are 2293, i.e. ~3.5% of total samples per year.

  • Led the efforts for caustic water utilization saving the company ~1 million USD.

Future Generation Project Field support and Flow Assurance Process Engineer

December 2018 - March 2020

  • Played a leading role in the team achievement of the 2019 Future Growth Project (FGP) High-Pressure Early Oil milestones: 3rd generation gathering system warm-up and start-up of metering station-52 (~59,000 bbl/day) and startup of 10 new wells.

  • Recognition award from Facilities Engineering Manager for modeling and successful execution of new metering station start-up.

  • Developed process safety time (PST) reports for new shut down valves at four field manifolds. Each report is a result of approximately 200 dynamic model runs.

Field Gathering System Support Process Engineer

May 2017- December 2018

  • Developed the dynamic model, flow assurance calculations, and recommendations to perform high risk activities such as pipeline pigging, displacement, shutdown, and start-up of the lines at the Field.

  • Identified inconsistency between sweeping velocities that operations used and real data. Prepared an intensive process modeling study (approx. 270 OLGA runs) to estimate sweeping velocities based on volumes of water that are accumulated in the pipes for Tengiz and Korolev oil fields.

  • Key participant in Process Hazard Analysis of Tengiz and Korolev Fields which allowed to identify high risk areas leading to timely prevention of the potential catastrophic events.

Utilities Team Process Engineer

August 2014- May 2017

  • Developed the wastewater disposal plan during plant turnaround and calculations to utilize wastewater to injection wells, which saved ~2 million USD.

  • Maximized nitrogen production from 30% up to 90% of the unit’s original design saving the company 500 thousand USD per year on purchasing nitrogen from the supplier.

  • Recognition award from Process Engineering Supervisor for troubleshooting and significant increase of nitrogen production.

Energy Team Process Engineer

July 2011- September 2012

  • Performed calculations of the volume and composition of gases flared during plant/field normal operation and maintenance work to internal and external reporting.

  • Key role in preparation of a flaring forecast for the plant and field to get the flaring permit from the Government.
